I forgot to mention that the tutorial is skippable, as are nearly half of the cutscenes in the game.

lucky for me there is a skip tutorial menu item or I'd still be stuck at the haste bug.

I also have this problem, tried different characters, every time the same. A game which tutorial isnt working? Thats really bad...

just ignore it and use shisft left click to break the rope with your sword, tutorial tend to repeat themsleves XD
