This game's tutorial is in English text, but the characters are all speaking some alien language!

Doesnt look like it. Just played it myself. And the tutorial took place in a dungeon.

That's what I'm getting out of this.

You can choose with which robe you want to play (bad design descision for the tutorial, but then those robes came after the game was created), and some of those robes won't let you do the tutorial
(like life immunity robes or slow robes), so just grab the standard robe for the tutorial and everything should work fine.. you can play the campaign then with any robe you like.

When you finish tutorial and get out of the castle you are using the selected robe.

I don't think that you can. Either use a different robe, or just skip the tutorial.

Indeed, that's the one. I believe there was a moment in the tutorial where you were taught that.

it is anoying because i want 2 do the tutorial because i have never played this game before :(

I see, hm, they definitely should fix their own game and not shift the responsibility to the consumers, but I guess that tutorial is better than nothing.
