Braille quest bug

Just upping the thread. This is the most annoying quest there is, and it's also bugged, and many people have faced it: when you collect all the texts and bring them to Mason, the counter can get stuck (for me it was 4/4), presumnably if you give him a few of the notes during the same dialogue.
For some peple returning to the place where they found the last note allows them to pick it up again, however, it did not work for me at all.
I'm bringing it up because this is the most effort consuming quest there is, and it's a bummer it got bugged. Please, please patch it up! :c

It just badly explained in the quest.
4/4 means you have to find the 4th note and bring it to him. The quest doesn't update if you have found it, hence you are still missing one note.
All notes are present even if you do not know the npc you have to give it to. My suggestion is to look up the places and revisit the ones you are not certain you have visited before.
People assume they have found all notes because the quest says 4/4. It's a "miscommunication" on the games part.

Hm, maybe it just needs 5 notes in total? The initial +4?
As I found all of the notes - I checked that before going to the guy. First one was the one I gave after the initial meeting, and then I checked the inventory each time after I found another Btraille to bring him the three other notes at once, just because it was a real pain to get back to the man at that point, seeing how I completed all of the quest lines at that area and didn't want to run back and forth.

There are only 4 notes, it might seem like there is an initial one because the dialogue is different between knowing and not knowing the NPC that can use braille. Search it on youtube there is a ~3 minute video about all locations. You'll recognize the places you've been before or you can doublecheck them again.

Well I wish they had patched this because I have all 4 parts but he keeps saying I am missing one, I went to all 4 locations again and nothing to interact with to pick up so I am fked. Short story short when doing this quest only pick up one then run to him then pick up 2nd and then run to him and so on. I think that is the only way for it to work tho I have not tried, but this way you can still interact with the items.
Unless there is another way to trigger him to accept the 4th then I guess I will skip this run.

Ah, that's what I figured.
Well, I WAS thinking about replaying it, bc my first impression of it was really bad, but people keep saying the game's amazing, so I might just need to give it another chance. I'd be happy to do this quest properly this time.

I found all "4" braille notes -they are in my inventory ,i can read them !!! But the game tells me it's 2/4. I ran through all the fff...ing 4 places again (3x-3 days), there was no text anywhere. I do not know what to do- Mason read nothing more ,and there is no new dialogue ??? Recommendations??? I did a game file arrangement and game reboot etc.

I got all the pieces I went to the location and it's telling me I need to have the password I have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ password but the game seems to be broken this is what happens when teams get lazy I'm going to say lazy because of the fact that there is no actual save system if I screw up or the game glitches I can't revert back which in on itself is just lazy work it's an interesting game but since they haven't fixed the bugs that have been there since the beginning and it's now that I got to say someone's got to have a talk with the company or the person who made the game and say look here's what we found here's the bugs can you please take a look at it and fix it
