Is it a possible senario what I had herewith?

Character hides from monster in box. Monster simply sits directly outside box perpetually. Character simply keeps panting perpetually. That continues on with no stopping. This is what happened to me. Is this valid or a glitch?

Also have al look at where the "continue" left me.... .. in almost non-existent pixels...impossible to move virtually anywhere so I had to let monster kill me in order for the game to reload to a different sav spot.
