Game keeps minimizing automatically when launched, when alt-tabbed to and when clicking anywhere, making it impossible to play or even change settings to fix it

There are several other older complaints about this happening but none with a solution. The way I fixed it for me was by going to <steamlibrary>/steamapps/common/LittleNightmares/Atlas/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor/, opening GameUserSettings.ini and fiddling with the settings in there.

The lines I changed were:

bUseVSync=False to True (so it stopped 100%ing my GPU)
WindowPosX=-1 to 0
WindowPoxY=-1 to 0
bUseDesktopResolutionForFullscreen=False to True
FullscreenMode=0 to 1
LastConfirmedFullscreenMode=0 to 1
PreferredFullscreenMode=0 to 1

I have no idea what change in particular actually fixed it, but now the game is loading just fine without constantly minimizing on me for no reason over and over again.

Most, if not all of these settings are literally in the option menu.

Which you can't get to if the game keeps minimizing on you instantly every time it launches, when you alt-tab to it or when you click on anything. Sorry if I didn't make that clear, but that is the issue and why it needed a solution that doesn't involve the in-game options.

Ive requested a refund with the game because it wont even lunch.

No solution here - just adding that my game is broken on the 2nd chapter. I hit launch and it minimises and dies, even with this fix and reinstalling the game.

I had to fiddle with resolution and V-sync to get it working and update the AMD Radeon drivers. It still sometimes crashes during gameplay and Alt-Tabbing.

I set only bUseDesktopResolutionForFullscreen=False and change values
ResolutionSizeX
ResolutionSizeY
to my default NTB resolution and game stop minimizing
(maybe it will work without setting fullscreen)
