The edge fire waves

What do i need to do? to dodge them i have to dash forward, but if i dash forward i end stuxck agaionst the edge , and even if i hit him he keeps using the fire waves, so i always get hit and they do a ♥♥♥♥ ton of damage, what am i supposed to do vs that attack?

Yeah, saw a video and saw that i needed to dash back and forth because you cant attack him during that time, thanks anyway.

You actually can attack him during that time, but it requires insane timing and precision. You can try it out in practice mode once you beat him
