Terrible FPS drops.
Does anyone else experience horrible FPS seemingly at random in this game? My system exceeds the specifications and I was lucky if my computer could consistently manage 5 fps on the walk to the third boss.

perfect 60 on both of my computers, both good and bad specs. I can't give a solution, but it's not the game itself being poorly optimized

My performance is also kinda meh, it's usually a good 58-60 fps, but at random intervals during fights, half of my frames decide they've had enough for that second, pack their bags and go on a vacation far from my PC, leading to stuttering issues. It's pretty annoying and the usual fixes don't seem to work (update drivers, restart PC, tweak graphical options, etc...)

I get 144 fps with the GTX 1080, check if your V-sync is disabled.

V-sync off

I got 30 - 40 fps average, and the control lags a little.

well... it is not well optimized in my opinion. the graphic of this game is relatively simple.

Furi often runs at stable 60 fps here, but also often stutters horribly, with fps dropping to 10-30. There are no other processes taking much CPU or GPU running at the same time. No antiviruses except the default Windows Defender. Tons of RAM available. It doesn't happen to other games.

Windows 10
GTX 1080
Threadripper 1920X
32 GB RAM
SSD storage

I am running it at 4k resolution but the drops are not rendering load-dependant. The same fight can run at a stable 60 fps one day and be unplayable another.

I dont know why, with 1060 i have some drops.. remember i played this game before without dedicated GPU and was fine, but now.. idk why. :/

OP, if you have a Nvidia GPU, make sure Nvidia control panel is still there. The most recent updates have for some reason removed it, which caused a lot of issues for a lot of people (turns out it is kinda necessary for everything to run smoothly).

Google it, and it should tell you how to get the driver with the control panel included.

I had this same issue with periodic stutters/fps drop, and found that Windows 10 has a setting which sends info to Microsoft every minute. Consider disabling that, as it seemingly impacts performance for certain games (like Furi) noticeably. Game runs flawless for me now, and I have only a 1050ti.
