Game unplayable from main menu, mouse cursor not working

Hello! I just got this game yesterday and I'm dying to try it, but whenever I access the game, the main menu is unusable, when I move the mouse, the cursor flickers and the buttons don't work at all, I just get the hover effect on the buttons but that's all... In the launcher the same thing happens when I open the settings menu, even before launching the game... it's very weird, can anyone help me sort it out? Thanks!

Hey Hexagoner,

Do you have any other peripherals, such as gamepads or other input devices plugged in your pc? If yes, try and removing them and see if the problem disappears.

only my mouse and my keyboard... I also tried running in borderless window but it's the same

The way you've described it, it sounds like either the game is recognizing some other form of input or your mouse is malfunctioning. Send us your log files and we'll check if log has any form of gamepad recognized.
What you can do on your end, if you have the will, is to try and reinstall the game just so we can be sure it's not a faulty install.

After looking at your log files, the game recognizes "Joystick <vjoy virtual joystick>" which is a gamepad configuration software and could possibly mess with your input. Try turning it off completely before starting the game and see if that will resolve your issue.
