is there a quick start in spelunky 2 like there was in 1?
At the beginning of 1 you could hit R and avoid the main menu and go directly to the start. is there a quick start for this one?

Not yet... hope its added soon. Seems like something very easy to implement.

There's an 'instant restart' option thats off by default, you pause and hit the option once it's on.

It's weird the game gives you an instant restart but not an instant start.....

No but you can mash through the main menu now atleast. Sadly the "The Walls are shifting" Animation is still unskippable.

I came in here to say exactly the same thing. I like to play a single game (when I'm busy with other things). It's a drag to limp through all that setup nonsense when I always play the same character.
