Oh it happens all the time. The Log drop breaks it; the shotgun breaks it; The thrown rock breaks it; the dead/KO'd Monty breaks it; something unseen breaks it...
All..the..time...
But it does add to the difficulty. And that's OK.
Nothing to do with you moving it. Enemies can break the jar before you've even seen it. This happens all of the damn time.
Which is the entire point of this thread, as I quite clearly stated. Every 2nd run you will get a ghost jar broken by something completely out of your control.

later went into a background door nowhere near the pot then suddenly ghost exists and cuts off the only exit

the lizards could break it but only if they attack you and roll into it wich would be your fault for not planning ahead.

Hell I've seen it spawn in front of an arrow trap personally, so you are certainly spreading mistruth.
