Start-up crash after settings change...

Okay. So I've played this game without hitch since beta. I stopped a month or so ago and decided to return today after the new patch to see how things are. It loaded fine and I went to settings to try out the new renderer and found that the game had defaulted me to low settings. I've been playing on ultra since the start smooth as you like. I changed the settings back to how they were and now I cannot get the game to start.

I've done all the fixes.

I've tried the deleting of the config files/documents files.
I've tried the redist packages.
I've tried the start-up paramiters fixes.
Nothing works. Nothing.

I have hit a dilema. If it does decide to load it defaults to horrible low settings when my rig plays happily on Ultra. If I change a single thing in the settings then I get the bugsplat window and can't load anything. I've searched and searched for help on this and the solutions are not working.

I've gone from a game that runs great with no problems to a game that refuses to start even after all the exhaustive fixes listed on the internet.

If I eventually get it to run how on earth will I get to change the awful low settings without running into the same nonsense?

Please send in the latest .log file and the latest .dmp file.
Please report what you were doing right before the crash occurred, as detailed as possible.

After a clean install it appears that the change of renderer is the culprit. How could I change the renderer back to normal in the config file?

same here: I ticked the renderer and played a game on low, then I went to change graphics settings, game asked to restart and since then only the bugsplat screen appears
even reinstalling the game did nothing

I didn't try the beta
I did try both to modify and delete the ini
I had to uninstall and delete all the game and config folders and then install it again to make it work again..

edit:
game started, all graphics settings on low
tried to set on medium (I did not touch the rendering option this time), asked to restart
bugsplat screen again..

edit2:
after fully deleting the documents folder -again- and checking cache integrity -again- it seems (all fingers crossed) the game is working.. everything on low, but I suppose there's nothing I can do for the moment and I'll have to keep it this way if I want to play..

I used to play it on higher settings before on this same pc, wth is going on now?

I did not have the rendeder turned on when I left the community test. Now I simply can not turn it on in the regular branch because it freezes my PC when it wants to restart the game.

Yep I cant start the game at all now..even after reinstalling twice and turning off all malware and virus programs. I am dead in the water. No solution that I can find. We cant be the only ones, Either a solution is found soon or Im out and on to somthing else...The devs need to understand the gravity of this issue or this game is gonna be in a death spiral.

I eventually got everything working. Without the renderer though.

I had uninstall the game and delete everything in the myGames ROGame folder. Reinstall. Play. It defaults to low again. Change all the settings you want. Apply. Restart. I got the bugsplat again. Restart pc. Load up game again. For me it loaded up. Checked settings and they were the ones I changed it to. Play game without problem.

The renderer just doesn't work for me though. I cannot get it to play with it on in any form.

I at least got my settings back to what they were pre-patch with the convaluted method I described. The problem seems to pop-up when the game wants to restart regardless of what you change. Weird.

last thing I managed to do was customizing characters, I didn't even enter the video settings screen
now it won't start anymore, whatever I do
this is so frustrating

Just do what I do, keep restarting it till it loads.......
