Infinite "Connecting to server"

Whenever I try to connect to a server it just says "CONNECTING TO SERVER" for about 5-10 minutes until the game says I was unable to connect. This has been happening since the last beta but it is more of a problem in the full release than in the beta. I will have to attempt to join about 10 servers after restarting the game, steam, and my internet a few times before finally being able to connect to a single server. At this point I spend more time trying to connect to a server than actually playing the game.

Well I just completely disabled my firewall and added an exception for Risisng Storm 2 in my antivirus and that did nothing.

I'm having this same problem I've tryed all the fixes after like 4 games it gose into the infinte loading screen.

It's the game. A bunch of people are having similar problems and some are saying the fix is as extreme as buying a completely new router. Every time the game updates the harder it is to connect to a server without timing out mid-connect. This really needs to be fixed, it's extremely frustrating when you wait years for a game to come out and you can't even play it because of something so simple.

I am having the same issue haven't been able to get into a single game because it just remains loading forever and eventually says connection timeout.

I was able to fix the problem by either connecting to a server a friend was in via IP or by just trying to connect to the same server 3 or 4 times. Hope these work for you but no permanent solution unfortuneatly.

I use my smartphone as hotspot to play, I get nice ping that way I was able to play like 3 games then I went all potato and I cant connect now

Almost a year have passed and this issue has not been fixed, bought the game at full price and can't play it, unbelievable.

Bought a different router and the issue still there, I tried everything even opening all ports and nothing.

I'm sorry to hear that. Someone ended up teamviewer-ing my PC and (sort of) fixing the problem by changing a bunch of values in a bunch of different places. I don't totally understand what they did but it (mostly) fixed the problem. Maybe try posting on Reddit's PC help forum and see if anyone there can help you.

I have been experiencing this issue for months now. I cant remember exactly what update caused it, but over the summer in June I first noticed this problem. I have done all of the pre-elminary checks such as verifying intergity cache, re-installing game and updating my drivers. Most of the time I just stay at the loading screen, it just stays at the loading screen unless I force close the game. There are times when I can actually play but its rare and once the round is over and I go back to the loading screen, I get stuck at the loading screen again.

Its very annyoing and Im glad that Im not the only one experincing this issue. The game is literally completely broken for me. I have had no performance issues or bugs with the game until now. I decided to take a break and, wanted to go back when I heard about the ANZAC, and ARVN update and multiplayer campaign I want to play the game but I cant. Its very stupid. The devs dont really seem to care is what im getting from this situation.

now that you talk about performance issues, I used to bítch a lot about PUBG's performance issues, but yesterday I was lucky to get in two servers of this game and let me tell you PUBG performance feels like a dream compared to this game. I don't even know how that is possible.
