No sound at all (with video)

My friend has no sound and its a bug in the options here is the video

his specs and devices plugged in:

GTX 1080ti Founders
Asus z170 motherboard
intel core i7 6700k cpu
4 tb seagate harddrive
16 gb corsair 3000 mhz ram

Keyboard: Logitech G910
Mouse: Razer Death Adder Chroma
Headset: Astro A50 Gen 3

He told me his drivers are fully up to date he vertified his game files and nothing.

This has worked for someone else before. Could you give it a try?

1. delete all files in '\Documents\my games\Rising Storm 2' AND '\Documents\my games\Rising Storm 2 Beta'
2. Reinstall game
3. Repair vcredist_x64 (steamapps\common\Rising Storm 2\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2012)
4. Restart PC

Alright, was doing some tinkering and figured my problem out. I have SteelSeries Siberia 800's, and at the receiver I had the input hooked up through fiber optics and output through USB.... which shouldn't be an issue (i've had no problem unitll this game). Changed the input over to USB for ♥♥♥♥'s and gig's and tested that and it worked... not sure what the issue is but it's definitly some compatibilty issue's on antimatter's side. I just now have slightly less audio quality, un-noticable though.

Exact same issue (randomly occurred during a match for me though).

I went into sound -> Playback then changed it to a different interface(also USB) then back and the game audio came back. Hopefully will be as simple for others.
