Mega server controversy

Everything you've heard about the mega server is a lie. The original Mega server circa 2016-2017 had software involved that tricked computers into thinking it had a harmful virus but the virus was a completely harmless Trojan that has no malicious intent. The mega server you see today is hosted outside of Romania and the host is a kind hearted modder that makes a 128p server in RS2 possible. Come in and have some fun with us if you can get past the 200 ping for non europeans.

Thats the apc mod. Its a normal community server function. Fear is a hell of a drug, especially when other propagate that fear.

He called it that because of the 128p count. Whether he knew of the servers bad reputation or not I don't know, but either way its a fun server and the server is full of real players damn near all times of the day.

It's pretty crazy how sad the admin for megaserver is. Literally holds a vendetta against tripwire for years. Just imagine how shallow your life has to be to literally dedicate that much of it to trolling a game.

Hello everyone,
I will start by saying I was really wrong about the mega saver and I am sorry for the misleading information I gave you earlier on the steam threads.
The main admin which goes by the name SQHQ asked me multiple times to join the steam threads and reply to people to defend the server and so I did because I was pretty naive and I didn't see anything suspicious. But it all changed when I found out he still running the malware in a secret process while you download some maps from server dedicated download page. And after I found out what he does he Banned Me from the server and blocked me so here i am still trying to save some people from joining the server.

From my experience talking with this guy he's delusional, have severe alcoholic problems, antisocial and have anxiety problems, bipolar disorder and he's just your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ typical internet hero, will handle people who says anything about the server will get banned

As far as I know what he explained me once that he ran the malware a long time ago and it's worked through the steam browser but now he upgraded and tested it and it's working we just downloading a map so I would stay away from the server and remove anything on your PC and reinstall the maps or the game.

So my conclusion guys stay safe from the mega server and do not join it the main admin really gets mad when people warn other people in the steam thread.

So, in conclusion, let's just stop responding to this thread. This ♥♥♥♥♥♥ wants you to constantly bump this thread up, so let's leave this sad lonely clown alone, i think we expressed community's opinion about this server scam enough. No point wasting time here anymore, you know. Some people just have public humiliation fetish or something, don't give it to 'em, or you'll never get rid of them.
