I see double barrel all the time, that thing is a beast.
Maintaining a team-level base of fire with rifles and machine guns firing towards/into known & suspected enemy positions is the bread and butter of combat in RS2. Shotguns are basically unable to contribute to that in a meaningful way. They're very powerful weapons but they lack the sustained rate of fire that would elevate them into more useful tools on a team level.
Shotguns are very powerful in the right situations, but they're a lot harder to use effectively than rifles and SMGs.
Having to pump after each round or holding very few rounds.
I'd say they are properly balanced.
Me too. Its way better than BETTER rifles like the M14 or L1a1. The garand was a Great rifle when compared to any semi auto battle rifle pre-1950. After.... totally obsolete. Game does nto show that at all. Would take this games M1 over the M14 or L1a1. That is wacko.
