But there are so many World War 2 games out there, it honestly annoys me to see yet another one instead of a new time period. Besides, I want to play a Red Orchestra game using a Chauchat. That would be fun!

It will end with almost only bolt actions, some pistols and few mgs...
Just look at Tannenberg.
Post Scriptum and Battlefield Cinco are far from the only WW2 shooters out there. Do not forget Day of Infamy, Call of Duty WW2, Battalion 1944, and others I cannot put my mind to. We could do with something new. Besides, Battlefield 1 sold well and it was far from WW2.

I would like a chinese vs japanese and a DLC about the chinese civil war.
Ignoring the fact that Tannenberg left out many weapons, we could still pull many weapons over from America, Japan, Britain/Australia, Italy, and much more. They all fought in the Russian civil war in 1918 on the side of the pro-Tzar Russians. Not to mention tank combat too, as well as many civillian weapons that both sides could get their hands on.
