Bullets disappearing after death. or at least it feels like it
I will shoot a RPG at a group of guys then get domed before the rocket hits then the rocket never goes off whats going on? Is it a bug?

same thing happens when firing my M16 and SKS from really far away like if a dude shoots less than a second before i do so i get my shot off before it hits me but then my shot just never lands because i land alot of these shots but it only happens when i get shot right after i fire

client side hit detection, they do disappear

The RPG won't dissapear. Because that is serverside. That will keep going.

As for bullets yes they'll disappear after you die. You'll never see a trade in this game.

That's weird. Mutual kills were not uncommon (and always darkly hilarious, in my opinion) in RO2.

In RO2 you had different bleeding mechanics. You could bleed to death in less than 1 second if you took enough damage. No to mention it had the slow death feature. So all "trades" happened due to bleedouts. Thus they weren't real trades.

The only time you could get a real trade was if one person involved had the PTRS. That was a serverside weapon. The DSHK likewise is also serverside.

Used to be able to.

But serverside hit detection is pretty bad in this game lol.

Nothing feels better than shooting an RPG at a guy, getting killed, and then seeing I still killed him in death. Revenge from the grave!

I thought SSHD is still in-game, just server admin has to change it from default.

I'm pretty sure they full on removed it at one stage. Could be wrong.
