I dont quite understand how to unlock this acievement. Do i have to press melee bayonet right before my target does melee bayonet?

I guess you have to melee someone who is in bayonet charge (holding middle mouse).

If you want we can try it on empty server including the other hard achievements.

No, that's the other achievement (the spoon one).

Description for the one OP is talking about is:
Bayonet a player who is mid-bayonet charge on an Australian forces map (as either team).

I think you need to stab him while he's sprinting with melee attack ready.

Quite sure it's that, yea. Which won't really happen. It's rare enough to see others with a bayonet, even rarer to see them use it - and if they do, it's generally by walking up to somebody and stabbing him, not by charging.

I find bayonet charge completely useless since you will stop completely while stabbing anyway = if target moves even a little you will miss. They really should add some momentum to the charge and make it ended with lunge, or allow to stab while sprinting at least. I think there should be topic in suggestions about it, but I don't have time right now.
