M1 Carbine is absolutely amazing.

I have never ever had so much fun playing this game before, the M1 Carbine makes the entire game fun to me, I love shooting it and I actually hit pretty much everything, it sounds amazing and I like the pretty low recoil.

It's the perfect weapon for my playstyle, which is mainly based on prone and stand moves from an ambush position. I also like that you can use it as a Sapper.

Good idea I have to admit.

Except it takes 4 bullets sometimes to kill. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ low caliber rounds. I too enjoy...sometimes.

It never took me 4 bullets to kill, 1-2 and thats it, even when I don't go for the head.

You should only aim for the head if it's the only thing showing though.

And yea, 1-2 hits to the torso. 4 bullets is likely due to hitting limbs


Personally, I hate it. If (semi-automatic && !shotgun) then IHateThisGun = true;
So nothing really special about me hating this.

This. I still have to find the right gamestyle for this weapon, 'cos right now I can use it somehow effectively only when ambushing the rears or hiding like a little rat, for the enemy doesn't have enough time to react; it takes too much to kill somebody with that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing.
But I have to admit that the weapon looks gorgeous, sounds beautifully and feels nice to play with.

The worst part is definitely the velocity, making long distance hits on moving targets hard. It almost feels no faster than a pistol round.

Its should be around 1900 ft/sec. Faster than pistol cartridge but slower than true rifle. The carbine actually follows suit to its real life counterpart in-game. Practical only for self defense and city fighting.
