Squad mixes realism and arcade much better and has way better looking and feeling firefights thanks to better feeling gunplay and no whack a mole gameplay where you spam at a bush 300 metres away and know instantly you got someone because of a magical headshot sound.
the problem this game had is the lack of maps, there were only 5 (not sure but aprox) in territory gamemode, and over 100 ping for everyone in server but other than that, this game and the first are amazing and much more enjoyable than bf1 or bf5.
Nope, steady playerbase use SteamCharts.
People bash BF1 and 5 because the game is designed around LOD which is why the quality is trash past 5 feet if you turn the effects off that hide the bad details.
