Controller support?
Any chance of controller support? I know its PC game so do not yell at me and tell me its stupid, I do not need to hear it. My hands are messed up and its hard for me to play for hours on M/K. Any way just wanted to know if there would be support.

If they are to lazy to add controller support, expect zero updates after launch as this always happens, just low another low end vietnam money grab.
Zero updates? lol

These devs are well known for supporting all their games YEARS after the launch of all their games with free content updates.

These Devs are anything buy lazy. They support there games and players. They have been great keeping the updates coming in the Beta. But anytime a Devs says they will look into controller support, that means no it will not happen.

Controller/joystick support has been fairly heavily requested for flying the choppers. I can see us doing it at some point - NOT NECESSARILY FOR LAUNCH!

I guess I will pick it up when joystick support is implemented. The game looks amazing though; shame joysticks are not supported.

Same. I count at least $500 in this one thread missed out on b/c lazy devs refuse to support game pads. In fact, MOST gamepad users are older (I'm 42) and have the money to buy hundreds of games. Im am just DONE with terrible emulators. I can play Rainbow Six Siege and Battlefield One JUST FINE vs M/KB kids. But, can't play Rising Storm. They say American schools have made Americans horrible businessmen. These developers fit the bill. What a stupid business decision leaving out controller support is.

I mean something like 99.9% of the playerbase uses or will use mouse and keyboard for this game.

So I can kinda see why day one controller and joystick support isn't exactly on their list of priorities over changing something that will affect more than 0.01% of people.

As after all. Time is money.

They could spend time fleshing out full controller support. Or they can spend time making sure smoke grenades spread smoke properly and react to the wind, or make sure bullets penetrate correctly through various objects when hitting said object from certain angles at certain speeds. Or the thousands of other features. And getting on top of all the bugs during development. All things things that a higher percentage of the community would want over full xbox controller support.

So after all that. Is it a poor buisness decision? Maybe you are slightly biased because the way you play games isn't supported day 1.

You gotta consider everybodies point of view. As everyone has one. Not just you.

Also you're a grown 42 year old man I would have thought whining and throwing insults around when you don't get your way would have been a thing that people grow out of by then. Because it doesn't work. A developer has already replied to this thread. No need to violate half the steam forum rules over it.

thats some classy moderation right there.

maybe you should try another hobby, if you can't be an 'impartial' moderator and throw :shit: just as much as you are claiming the poster is.

what haven't you grown out of?

waiting for my next forum ban for speaking truth. its funny how you chastise him when you just broke the same rules you are claiming to uphold.

again, ridiculous moderation. reflects on the development company, you know.

the decision making here is very poor, sad.

.

furthermore:

source on your percentages?

i am seeing these 'controller support?' threads pop up daily in this area of the forum as well as ideas and suggestions. so often other posters are telling the OPs to use the 'search' function.

so it kind of makes your percentages seem 'skewed' or just plain incorrect.

i get it. you don't like controller users. the questions i asked are rhetorical by the way, so i won't be needing any biased reply from you. thank you so much.

Controller support is in every dev kit. You act like it takes 200 man hours to put it in a game.

Thanks but the steam contoller is a POS. Great idea made very cheap and does not fit your hand right. Also It takes hours to get it setup in most games.

The Dualshock 4 has almost all the same functionality with Steam ever since they added it to the Steam Input family. It's a great controller.
