Anyone know if this will eventually come out on PS4? I heard they talked to Sony, and my cousin has a cruddy PC and I would like to play it with him on PS4

Even if it does it's very unlikely that the game would support cross platform play between PC and PS4

You would need to develop from square 1 focusing on the weaker link. IE, a console. One or the other will get held back do to performance differences. Like smaller maps and this and that. So I would be shocked if cross platform support happened if this got on PS4. Not to mention all the keyboard and mouse folks would utterly destroy controller folks in a competive FPS.

Very unlikely. The game plays out same way as RO2 which is very unfriendly towards gamepads.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if it did go to PS4. Tripwire like many other notable PC devs of the past are going console

KF2 was being develolped for PS4 from the very beginning though. They have made no such announcements for RS2 and TWI aren't the main devs for this one either.

i highly doubt they'll release it on consoles since the the game will require more buttons, also the the ps4 may not handle the game due to graphics and the demands of power the game needs to run efficiently. the game isn't that big on the consoles and it will be destroyed in sales by COD and battlefield 1 due to the large amount of kids buying consoles. in my opinion i think the game shouldn't be on the consoles since the devs may probably dumb it down so much, it may affect future of red orchestra games with COD or battlefield like gameplay with no strategy. tripwire may have talked to sony about some different game that isn't rising storm vietnam.

I asked a developer a while ago when they were about to release Killing Floor 2 on the PlayStation 4 and he said if enough people are interested in it then they will consider it.
