Rank and deaths
Is there a way to see other people's rank? Why don't we have a count of how many deaths we've had?

When in a game take a close look at someone on your team. Just to the right and down you will see a white number, that is this players Lv.

Why there is no death counter is something TW would have to answer. But I would guess it would bring a lot of negativity if it was public. If private it just might take up space on screen. Maybe it would influence you to not take objectives.

Maybe a k/d ratio instead. At least that i can see myself. I know as a fairly new/noob i am dying a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ but don't know how much. However, i do understand your reasoning Fblue.

The Red Orchestra series has never kept track of player deaths so that players don't get hung up on their K/D ratio and start lonewolfing it to the detriment of the team. The game is about teamwork and winning the round, not how many times you die. That is irrelevant and it's better to not have that info in a game like this.

Also, FYI you can see your total deaths in the stats screen at the main menu.

Think david meant checking during game. It also seems he wants to check his stats only. That might be more acceptable. Honestly I have had some games where looking at my deaths would probably make me even more frustrated.

But I would agree with Vasily in that you shouldn't get hung up with your K/D ratio in this game. This game is more about capping and basicly doing what it take to help your team win.

I always considered it realism. Whatever side you chose, you are fighting for that nation, as a soldier in that nation. Thus you are subject to the progranda of that nation, and will only see positive outcomes of war displayed superficially. To get into the dirty truth one must go looking.

Yeah adding deaths to the scoreboard would likely make people way more passive. In a game where you often need to take big risks to achieve taking or defending objectives.
