Did the vietnamese use ghillie suits?
Hey, just wondering, did the vietnamese or americans use ghillie suits? Would be cool to use them on snipers and maybe add a feature of scope reflection...

Not in the sense you are thinking. They did camo themselves with natural vegatation, but not as a 'suit' as you see in your mind.

They didn't have any suits. they used natural vegetation.

They would use bushes on their body and stuff, but I don't think it was on the level of the Japanese hero in RS1, that thing was basically a ghillie suit.

Scope reflection (ala battlefield) is a myth and a very gamey way to unstealth well poisitioned soldiers. Theres already "scope reflection" in-game, you just didint noticed because can only be seen in the extremely rare case of when the sniper is against the sun and in open terrain.

The odds of someone seeing such reflection are so small that it really just comes down to one marksman looking at another one, which already defeats the idea, since your going to notice the body of said man before you even attempt to look at his scope.

here we go again.

And they used the veg that was around them, often opting for ferns and the like to be attached to their helmets or backs. And not just snipers, any force that wanted to be concealed. Would love to see them in game.
