Report a translation problem
The higher you set it, the wider your view angle is how it works. But it makes distant stuff look farther away. And at the extreme it creates a fisheye effect. Lower makes stuff look closer, but narrows your view quite abit.
If you are having trouble seeing stuff far away, because its super small, set it low and look around more to compensate for the narrower view.
If you are having trouble seeing stuff in the distance, then yes, the lower the setting the more it will help you see stuff far away.
Thats weird. Im quiet sure my lowest fov setting is 86, because i played with it a lot to find the best option for me. I will do a screenshot, and im gonna upload to imgur to show you.
By the way, 86 was the default settings for the game. 86 is the lowest, 106 is the highest.
