Low end PC playable!
Just to thanks devs.
After latest patches I gave RS2 another chance and now got 40-45 fps with dips to 20s but playable.
On release it was 20fps max.
720p, all low
i5 2400, 12gb RAM, 6750m 512 VRAM

Now just to improve k/d of 0.04 after all of the messing with settings 😂

This is likely the result of taking more work off the cpu by pre-loading content on initial game load. Glad it has helped out for you.

I was additionally messing with ROengine.ini and it seems that putting
bUseTextureStreaming=false

resolved stuttering and gave more consistent frame rates.

I also put poolsize to 1000.
It doesn't make sense as I have only 512 VRAM but shared memory states 4gb so maybe RS2 is using all of it and there is still enough RAM left for game.

I also lowered max audio channels to 32 and turned to false dynamic shadows.

This all give me smooth experience, but maybe it was just good servers.

K/D is now 0.2 but unlike fps that will hardly improve 😆

Another great tip that worked for me is to put in steam launcher options

USEALLAVAILABLECORES -malloc=system -sm4 -high

And if someone wants to go really low check this guide

Yoshiro, how can I force the game to pre load more content?
Amd FX 6300@3.8ghz is still not very enjoyable.
Btw I have a lot of free RAM.

Any info about prototype rendering system?

Prototype rendering system is due by the end of August. Nothing has changed. Check the roadmap.

I know that. I just wanted to know how well it will work.
I though Rs2 will be better optimized
