Why is everyone wearing their default uniforms?
Only cosmetics I've seen are helmets. Is the other equipment, like shirts or pants disabled?

There is a ton once you get past the first few levels but I hate it because half the time youc an not tell the diff between Enemy and teammates especially when they are shirtless.

All cosmetics are enable on all severs, I do not believe there's an option to turn off cosmetics. I believe people don't like running around shirtless due to being seen easier (please note I mean they aren't wearing the overshirts). And this is my own opinion, but I like to see the camouflage pattern of the USMC, therefore, I wear the full outfit.

The exposed skin makes you stand out much more when you're hiding in grass, and the shirtless cosmetics make it so allies have to spend more time identifying if you're friendly or not, and sometimes just outright teamkill you if you're in waist-high cover and they can't see the color of your pants.

Well, you can only chose between a new uniform and a rag. I bet a lot more people prefer a new uniform. There are also a few camo options but they are all look the same for me.

Let's clear the air from all the speculation being posted above.. lol

If you have character detail set to low, you will only see variations in headgear and not clothing customisation which I assume is your issue. I see lots of variety in the battlefield, and I'm running ultra for character detail.

Standardization would be a 'good' thing to prevent TK's but too many want to be 'hollywood' and then blame others for TKing them because they do not look like "American's" or fellow VC/NVA

I see plenty of variation when I play, but I don't think alot of people go overboard because of TK issues. Running around with no shirt is risky business.

MrOtober98, how very true. I try to dress so they know, and blend into the back ground as much as I can.

Change your character detail settings to medium or higher, and you will see all uniform variatons.

Most of the uniform variations and addons are pretty spot on for the era. The only thing I think is a tad off are the tattoos which aren't very Vietnam era looking, but I don't see alot of players using them.

I usually have the standard stuff on my guys to prevent TKs, except for my PAVN and US Army guys who have a tank top and camo legs and a green shirt.
