how do you unlock weapons?

i just got the game and im wonder how do i unlock other weapons. i have the type 56 how do i get the akm?

Uhh, just click the weapon and you should get a list of the others...

There's no unlocking weapons here.

Up where it says 'Weapon" in the role select menu, you can select from a range, all are available from the start. Underneath you also have 'Variant' which allows you to select from different types variants of weapon (eg. Pointmans selection of differing shotguns). Then on applicable weapons such as the M79 Grenade Launcher, you have 'Ammo' which allows you to select between different ammo type loadouts.

Aside from cosmetic stuff for your soldier customization, no.

Class only weapons.
Ppsh is for Sapper and the scoped mosin for the sniper obviously.

Available on some maps for the Guerrilla (regular Rifleman) class. Chu Chi and Hue City off the top of my head.
