View Model FOV
Hey all,

Wanted to know if it is possible to change the view model FOV. The guns and weapons seem so close to my face when I play and it bugs the hell outta me.

yeah i also think its far too close to the middle of screen, and sometimes it travels onto the far side of the screen, weapon should never go past middle of the screen in free look.
It would be nice if they either tied the hands view model to the FOV or added a seperate slider.

Weapons models are too Buku. Probably designed with consoles in mind.

Dont know why they made them so much larger than Ro2's, hopfully they will reduce the size in the future.
Again, world space FOV, and then the view model FOV are two different things. One is how you see the game space, the other is how far out your arms look.

It not bigger from the size its closer to youre "view". Its like you have youre head on the gunstock.

Have you tried using the FOV slider? It doesn't make much of a difference, the guns are still huge. Looking straight up, the gun will occupy half of the screen, its ridiculous. Either move the camera further up to the player models' head (instead of occupying his solar plexus) or reduce the size of the model. Not even in RO, RO2 or RS are the models this huge.

The FOV slider does not change the weapon FOV... What OP is asking about, learn to read people...

I noticed too, like as if the eyes are on the player's chin. I tried to mimic with my go pro and my m&p rifle and no they made the weapons exaguratedly big in this game. I set fov to 100

Sadly it still doesn make the weapons further away from your face. Any way we can bring this up to the devs?

While I love the fov option, the gun models often take up a space of the screen that is really important to many. I once died in a bobby trap because I didn´t see the stick with the grenade on it due to the model being so big during crouch.
