IZH 43

Saw that gun in weapons trailer. Actually this gun came to world in 1986, but basically its IZH 58 from 1958. Does devs knows about it or it is some different IZH 43?

Also the IZH-43 was in the games Vietcong and Vietcong 2. So the developers of those games made the "mistake" too?

Honestly saying , Jackett told us that they were basing off Vietcong 2 lol. They dont do their research they way they should.

That wasn't what he said. He just mentioned Vietcong 2. In fact he actually questioned as to what they called it in that game.

The gun was originally called "Baikal Double Barrel Shotgun". He said they needed a better name than that.

Simply mislabeling a gun is a pretty light oversight and is something that is extremely easily fixed. Seems a bit disingenuous to say they "don't do their research like they should" just from a simple description error. Doesn't really matter why the error happened.
It's pretty obvious they've poured far more research into the game than most other FPS devs have, especially given the budget they have. And this is coming from someone who's already whined about the AK's in the game in the past.

They could probably just shut themselves in some monastery somewhere just "researching" the Vietnam War for 5 years and we'd still probably see oversights and errors in the game. That's just the nature of the beast imo.

Thing is a lot of weapon manufacturers will take an existing product, Change something about it, Give it the same name, And than re-release it with a new date, Truth is the only way to know for sure is to ask baikal since there is little information about the gun anywhere else.

It's an IZH-58.

Exactly the same as the 43 except for its internal workings.

Write the company a email and Say that you are intrested to buy a IZH43 and the seller say its from military use date is...1959...and see what they will answer to you iam sure they will tell you WHEN they produce this weapon first...
