Losing connection after 5 minutes in a server
Every time I join I lose connection to host after around five minutes of play time. Every character starts walking indefinitely in one direction then I lose connection. This doesn't appear to happen when I'm on wi-fi instead of wired. But I don't want to unplug my ethernet cable every time I play this. Are there some ports I should forward or something? I already tried deleting my Rising Storm 2 folder in Documents

You can try setting up a DMZ for your computer's ip. Who's your ISP?

Comcast Xfinity. I have my PS4 DMZ'd since it improves it's download speed. I can only do one at a time right?

Correct, but It would probably be better to port forward your ps4, set up a reserved ip for you pc, and setup a DMZ for that ip.

My issue is, is that this isn't a problem for any other game. I mean, either way I can do that, but if there is some other way I can address this I would rather do that.

Thank you for your help though I will definitely set up a DMZ for my pc if nothing else works

You can also try lowering you Firewall Security Level. Gateway > Firewall > IPv4

Hey guys, thought I'd share my solution for this. There are known issues with the Netgear R6220 router (and some other routers) that cause this issue. I was connected to the router through an ethernet cable and got disconnected every 5-10 minutes after first connection to a server.

This fixed it for me on the Netgear R6220 router, here are the steps for this specific router:

1. Log in to the routers webinterface.
2. Press Advanced.
3. Press Setup, then QoS setup.
4. Above the "Reset" button there's a dropdown menu of games/services for QoS. Press it and choose "Add new application" in the bottom.
5. Name it whatever you want, i.e. "RO2 Vietnam". Set the priority to highest. Then set Starting port to 7777 and Ending port to 7779. Then press Apply.
6. Slay some vietnamese or vice-versa.

Hopefully this works for anyone else experiencing the same issue too. I'd love to hear the results!

Yep same router! I hope that this works for everyone. I actually recently upgraded my router and the problem went away

Sorry I didn't post this earlier, the workaround I used for this specific router was to connect it directly to the ethernet source instead of the router. There are reports that wireless helped aswell (to the router in this case). As soon as I tried the solution above I started searching for others posting the same issue in the forums and shared this solution. Hopefully this helps the others aswell. I was on the brink to buy a new router myself...
