AK47 & M16 Single Shot and Full Auto (Audio)

Why do these guns make two seperate sounds for single shot and full auto. It sounds like your shooting a different weapon when all you have done is switch the fire mode. Lots of games do this with sniper rifles, because the gun has a scope doesnt make it have a completely different fire sound, WTF?

The m60 and NVA machine gun make the same sounds when fireing a single shot, which is how it should be. So why does the m16 and ak47 make a completely different sound all because of a switch of fire selector.

It ruins the immersion and is distracting in combat.

With the AK47 you cant really fire a single shot when its in full auto mode. You almost can with the lightest of mouse click. The m16 you can fire 1 single shot when its in full auto mode. In real life i am pretty sure its easy to fire just one shot even when the gun is set on full auto. Do you expect me to beleive army vets can;t fire off a single shot while in full auto mode?

REcordings aside it needs to be fixed. Its not like it would be hard imo. Squad had this same problem, everyone thought it was dumb and was fixed quite easily.

you can fire a single round in full auto, the thing is that the game plays 2 SFX for a single shot if you click just a little longer, enough to triger a new SFX but not a new shot

True, exaclty and it should be fixed. It would be alot better that way.
