Sounds refreshing to be honest. I'm jumping in.
It's almost one shot kill tho and no kill cam but that's what I like in this game.
I like the twist. Makes it way more tactical than the territories game mode.
But of course tactics + essentially a free weekend = no tactics. So there was that issue this weekend lol.
They are different.
But I as a huge battlefield fan, always liked to play RO2,RS and RS2. It's just not an arcade game, keep that in mind!
I agree. I find the Supremacy mode more fun and think it lends itself to being at least more dynamic in replayability and tactics. It's not the more linear attack and defend stratedgy of Territories.
Should be even more of a blast after the player base evens out.
Cablemustache has a point there, childish or not, he is right. All the people walking around saying: " If you like that, you won't like this " is actually immature, childish and not thought through very well.
You can like quick arcady games with small to no realism, you can enjoy fantasy games, you can like classical music and metal music, you can like fish, vegetarian meals and icecream. And guess what? You can like. Not everything is black or white. I liked to play the old Call of Duty games, I like to rarely throw a look in CS:GO, I liked arma, I like battlefield, I like World of Tanks but I also like War Thunder, on top of that, I like RS2.
Whatever people like is their choice, there is no profile or guideline or set of rules to follow when liking a certain food, video game, movie or song.
And just because someone might come from a more arcade game than RS2, doesn't mean she/he wouldn't like a little change from time to time.
So, Cablemustache's statement is pretty correct and accurate if you ask me.
Talking about how bad steam forums are and how things never change, you are the only person who is behaving childish right now, getting one off about something insignificant as " ummm ". Not everyone wants to write like a court clerk.
Have a good one.
