But price is a huge factor here. This costs 20€, while Battlefield is still 60€ I think.
Well if that ain't important get both :p.
Rising storm 2 is a proper 2nd game. No reskin of any kind. A new experiance. Improving on many aspects of the past games.
It's not a reskin, the core gameplay is the same, but there are a lot of gameplay changes which make the game more enjoyable, at least for me.
My problems with it are the lack of maps (there are only 6 maps right now... but custom maps can be created, after release obviously) and jumping/vaulting over objects is annoying.... I don't like the soundtrack either that much and there should be a bit more gore, like in RO2.
But if we compare it to BF1 (which I didn't play), this game most likely requires more teamwork. Like in RO2, each team has a commander who has to coordinate with the squad leaders to call in airstrikes and help out the team. Squad leaders also have a huge responsibility to make it possible for squadmates to spawn near them, so they won't have to walk all the way from the spawn point. This game has helicopters on a few maps, but BF1 has planes and tanks. The movement mechanics are also most likely a lot more polished in BF1 than here. Same goes for the graphics.
More content you have to pay money for that should have already been in the stock game.
No thanks. BF1 isn't even a WW1 game either. It's more of an interwar steampunk game.
