How to used a controller for rising storm vietnam...( ps4, xbox and steam)

Hey everyone i actually found a way to used controller for rising storm 2: Vietnam on pc even if the game does not support it officially. You can actually used this for every game available on steam and it work with xbox 360, ps4, xbox one and steam controllers. I am asking this out of curiosity, why do you prefer controller to keyboard and mouse in a pc fps game?

So I have a Playstation 4 controller, Xbox One Controller, and a custom PC Xbox Controller. My question is by now in 2019, if I look up bindings is there working/functional controllers bindings for Veirnam? I know it's not supported by devs, but that's okay to me. I just wanna know if it works and I'm not just looking for flight controls but infantry as well. Because while I can use a mouse and keyboard I function best with controllers.

From what I've gathered the game itself hasn't supported it in the past. But what I've learned from Google and multiple Discussions the Devs gave varried answers about including it in future patches. An that has confused many, because it's never a definitive yes or no. So if you are searching it's best to use steam's big picture mode/settings and bind controls with premade presets. I just wanted to know if anyone successfully did it/uses said bindings.

Yes, they work just fine, choppers and infantry.

You would get demolished with a controller in this game.
