Fridge and perishable fruit/veg
Just wanted to give a few suggestions, I apologise if they have been mentioned already.

So I was out scavenging for supplies one in-game day, and when I returned I found that all my food in my fridge had spoiled. Because during the day I had ran out of power and so my fridge turned off, however for realism sake the fridge should automatically turn back on when it's getting enough power. Yes I know, I shouldn't let my power run to zero, but in real life when the power goes out, your fridge will turn back on once the power does.

Fruit and vegetables never spoil, I think they should, same goes with eggs, unless they are refrigerated. However they should take about three times as long to spoil than meat, and eggs 5 times longer? (Just suggestions)

Side note: I think we should be able to plant blueberries and they reap 3 per plant, and tomatoes (1) should spawn in the open but are rare, same goes for cotton (1).

Carrots: A new veg, spawn in the world and can be planted, each carrot makes 2 seeds and grows 1 carrot.

Good points.

The refrigerator could have a freezer compartiment (or a seperate freezer would also be handy) to stock excess food for very long periods.

A biofuel-filled generator could act as an automatic power source when the power falls below a certain value.

A cooking pot to make tasty and healthy stews would also be an asset.
I don't know, my meat seems to last quite a long time already.
I can go one step better, just add an upgrade that will power the fridge for 5 seconds when power reaches zero, this way it will stay on for when you get back :)

Yeah, the cooking pot could be an upgrade to the stove with it's own separate tab and you can mix up to 3 ingredients together to make a meal that restores a large amount of hunger etc
