Changing Carry Weight in Stalker Call of Chernobyl

Hey, Im playing the mod COC, and I tried to change the carry weight of my player using the system.ltx and actor.ltx method, yet my inventory carry weight is still the same.

Does anybody know of any other methods that dont involve a trainer for 3rd party software?

to my deep regret I don't know anything about the game Call of Chernobyl. I can only tell you about the Shadow of Pripyat !

well assuming you have COP installed, all I did was download the torrent and install using the .exe

To my knowledge there is no actor.ltx and system.ltx in coc, the configs are packed in a db file. If you have a system and actor.ltx they could be leftovers from a previous mod, so obviously changing the stuff in there wont affect the coc settings.

The outlined method above is what I tried, however I have Call of Chernobyl installed over Call of Pripyat. Ill have to reinstall these two games with Call of Chernobyl seperately it seems, ill post back with results

Check out the download section of the mod at Moddb. There is a .bat file that will unpack the .db files into a folder named "unpacked". Just take the actor.ltx file from there (as well as the system.ltx since you need to edit it as well in order to properly change the carry weight values). Move them in the gamedata folder, in their correct location (actor.ltx should be in configs/creatures/ if I'm not mistaken) and edit them as you wish. Feel free to add me if you need more help. I'm enjoying this mod a lot, Call of Chernobyl is the best thing to happen to the STALKER games in a while. Cheeky breeky

By the way, the mod has been installed in a new folder created WITHIN your Call Of Pripyat folder. Disregard any file outside this folder. To make things clear your actor.ltx will need to be put in : Steam/Steamapps/common/call of pripyat/new folder/gamedata - NOT in Steam/Steamapps/common/call of pripyat/gamedata . Again, feel free to add me if you need help.

if "gamedata" is not the folder where the .db files are located, then the folder is probably a "database" one, put the DB_Converter folder in the needed one . Make sure that all needed paths in unpack_db.bat are correct, by editing it with text editor .

To apply the modified configs you just need to position them (unpacked) in the "gamedata" .
