I can only offer you a few suggestions.
Like i said in other thread, the difficulty in anomaly is very adjustable. For starters increase the player defense rating and damage to enemies. The starting armor is pure ♥♥♥♥, so take some easy jobs and buy something better. The start is always challenging, but nowhere near as brutal and worth ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about. When you deal with animals like Boars, chimeras etc. just move to the side to dodge or sprint out of the way, use trees and obstacles so they can't reach you. Then buckshot their asses. Buy yourself a sidearm shotgun as soon as you can, or take one from some dead stalker. You can even ignore animals like boars at the start of the game, just run from them. Use elevation if you can so they can't get to you. Don't get swarmed by dogs, pick them from the distance. It's generally bad to just stand on one spot during combat no matter who you fight.
It's kinda sad, because if people used their brains and survival instincts more when they play then we would have had more immersive games like stalker.
A boar should go down in a few headshots and for each damage it takes it should be slowed down. Shouldnt take mags of ammo to kill it, thats not difficult, thats just lazy design and the reason why i cant be bothered with mods. Main game is good enough as it is.
Mods are great, just like the main game. The issue is striking a balance. Making things die after one shot to achieve "realism" is boring, making them bullet sponges to give the mod a fake difficulty is also ridiculous. Developers need to find that sweet spot.
That said, Anomaly is far from difficult. I don't really like freeplay mods so I am not biased towards Anomaly. You can take down a boar with two shots from a cheap beginner TOZ, easy. Even OP called the topic pointless after getting the hang of it.
CORDON EARLY-GAME TWEAKS + EASIER FANATIC TRAINING [1.5.1]

That's actually pretty fun because i used to do that while being surrounded by muties in red forrest. I just positioned myself inside the anomaly field for better defense. Though that's very situational and not an option all the time.
Does the console actually work in anomaly?
As for boar hunting , I always hop on the nearby car by the road to take some potshots to distract them and have Fanatic shoot them down, lmao, that or get the double-barreled shotgun as your starting weapon and buy some slug shells. Slugs are easily the best solution for killing mutants. Buckshot is also pretty decent if you can't afford slugs at the moment. Also, always try to aim for the head as it does more damage (duh).
Stalker Anomaly is relatively easier compared to the likes of Dead Air, Misery and AREA. You just need to plan your moves almost always and do some tactical maneuvering when in firefights. Anomaly punishes mindless run-and-gun playstyles, found that out the hard way.
