Rename one of them as a backup folder and delete everything inside the "original" one. Install Gunslinger inside the empty folder using the backup folder as the reference asked during the installation.
When its done, rename the .exe file from "Play GUNSLINGER Mod.exe" to "stalker-COP.exe" so STEAM will thinkg you're playing COP while running Gunslinger Mod
Anyway to get around it I complied a custom .exe in a few lines of C that does nothing other than turn around and call a batch file of a given name that it expects to see in the same folder. I then put whatever command I need in that batch file i.e. launch the intended mod's exe..
So the process goes I put my makeshift custom .exe file into the steam's game folder with the same name that Steam is hard coded to look for along with its associated batch file (delete or rename the steam-installed original edition) and go for it.. one triggers the other which in turn triggers the actual program/mod. Works every time. Bit fiddly of course and a bit of effort to setup but worth the payoff when you can trick steam into launching anything with that Play button.
I'm really sorry but it IS actually possible.
Here's the guide I found https://steamcommunity.com/app/41700/discussions/0/1742266965428566394/
Tested it out myself whilst running Gunslinger + AF3 + AN4 and it's working fine. It does count the playtime and you can make use of the Steam overlay as well.
I know this is and old thread, but thought I'd post this straightforward guide, anyway.
