Introduction

Real quick guide on how to get Gunslinger fully compatible with Steam. Should be easy.

Gunslinger also doesn't require Steam to be run in Admin Mode for the overlay to work which keeps things nice and easy.

Guide - ENG

Step One:

• Install S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat through Steam

Step Two:

• Locate your CoP folder in your Steam/Steamapps/Common folder found on your selected installation drive
  
• Within your CoP folder create a new folder and name it "Stalker Call of Pripyat"

Step Three:

• Move the entire contents of your CoP folder into our newly created "Stalker Call of Pripyat" folder

Step Four:

• Next start the Gunslinger Installer .EXE
  
• Change the install directory for Gunslinger to your Original CoP Folder (Steam/steamapps/common/Stalker Call of Pripyat)
  
• A window popup saying "The selected directory is not empty" will open, hit "Yes"

Step Five:

• Now change the CoP folder location to our newly created "Stalker Call of Pripyat" folder found in the base game directory (Steam/steamapps/common/Stalker Call of Pripyat/Stalker Call of Pripyat)
  
• This folder contains all of the base game data that we moved previously in step three

• The folder path in the installer should look similar to this:

Step Six:

• If the previous steps have been done correctly then your CoP directory should look like this (with Gunslinger correctly installed):
• Next run Gunslinger from the CoP folder (Play GUNSLINGER Mod.exe)
  
• Once the game loads to the menu simply Exit to Windows

Step Seven:

• Alright final step, rename the Gunslinger exe named "Play GUNSLINGER Mod.exe" to "Stalker-COP" making sure you use this name exactly

• Very nice, your done O_O. Now just can boot up the game from Steam and it will execute the correct .exe.
  
• All steam functions should work without the need to run Steam in admin mode which is epic
  
• Note in the below screenshot the correct mod version number is displayed on the bottom left and the green steam icon in the top right indicating playtime tracking is live

• Установите S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Зов Припяти через Steam

Step Two:

• Найдите папку CoP в папке Steam / Steamapps / Common на выбранном установочном диске.
  
• В папке CoP создайте новую папку и назовите ее «Stalker Call of Pripyat».

Step Six:

• Если предыдущие шаги были выполнены правильно, ваш каталог CoP должен выглядеть следующим образом (с правильно установленным Gunslinger):

Step Seven:

Hey mate, download fail sounds like a problem with Gunslinger. Do you still get the error if you try to install it to a different folder (try maybe your desktop)?

Hey brother, so i got this error when installing the gunslinger mod after all correctly done steps

"Download failed. Try again?"

I did everything correct. Am i missing something here? I'm trying again rn after reinstalling CoP.

As long as you can still launch the game from "Stalker-COP" It doesn't matter if the icon is different. Does it only crash when you have gunslinger installed?

Whenever I rename the "Play GUNSLINGER Mod.exe" to "Stalker-COP" It dosnt give me the Stalker CoP icon but rather just a file Icon. How do I fix this? Also The game just crashes and dosnt even get to the main menu, all I see is a black screen.
