Absolutely, that was immersion +1000! :)
All in all it´s a good Game, but it have to be fully canceld from the Mobile Programming, then we can see the Potential it have.
NO DENUVO. Whichever publisher you go with, don't agree to any deal if they get ideas to slip that malware DRM into your project.
I know this is a key part of the game but I love the management during the season and sometimes I just want to skip to certain races etc.
In a new game, I would prefer to see an increased emphasis on testing and telemetry. For instance, a speed graph for the entire lap, which could be used to compare the delta against one's best lap and other drivers, and allow for fine-tuning of wings, suspension, and other components. Every adjustment made would have an impact on the vehicle's speed on straights, turns, and other features.
Example (this is real world data, so for a game it could be amplified for better visualization):

The idea is to replace the system of the first MM in which we rely solely on the driver to tweak the settings and simply put the arrow inside the green bar.
Also, I would like to see more nuances in the choices we make. It's safe to say that a 4 star driver is better than one who have 3 stars. But I want them to have more differences than just being faster. (the current differences are too small compared to the pace difference)
- Drivers feel like real people. All the different permanent and temporary traits that they can get really helps this game feel like the real thing! Love this, and more of this please!
- Rule changes. It is really cool that you can have all kinds of crazy rules. I still haven't tried the rolling starts yet, but I love that I can introduce the rule to open wheel racing. More of this please!
- Graphics are already great! F1 manager has very cool camera angles. But they are not really worth it if the rest of the game lacks. So for me, what motorsport manager is already doing is more than fine!
I would love to see more tracks! No licensed content is needed in my opinion. Just tracks that are close to the real thing or inspired by the real thing is enough.
I would also love to see more accidents or random events in the game. What I really enjoy about real world motor racing, is when random events happen. It changes a race from being somewhat predictable to exciting and enjoying to watch.
Just some quick thoughts. Hope a sequel happens :-)
Wow! To think we could have a new MM, after the travesty that is F1 Manager 22... !!!
I'm weak at the knees already!
I don't have much to add that hasn't already stated by others. MM was always such an impressive and addictive management and race game - with a couple of overhaul mods in later days it turned into one of my most played games ever. After a six month or so break, I'm considering firing it up again and getting back into the madness.
The only features 'that other game' has going for it are beautiful graphics and choice of camera angles (at the shameful expense of an immersive, playable game) so would be great to have in-car cameras etc. and of course improved models. I'd also love more circuits.
I only played open-seater, F3,F2 and F1, and Real World teams and drivers would be a major plus but, unless licensed, I guess that would be for modders to bring in.
Race AI has also been greatly improved by mods - it was a little weak in the early days.
Beyond this, well, I guess it will be at least a couple of years before we see it but I now have a reason to keep living! Fantastic news, Christian. Your team delivered one of the best PC games of any kind ever. So excited at the prospect of the long-awaited sequel.
ANY session can be stopped with a very low chance (don't make it frequent). Sometimes it will be continued later, sometimes it will be finished as in real life. The whole bunch of mechanics related to red flags will make the game even more dramatic.
Must be a full PC game (or console for that matter) that has no ties to some Mobile ♥♥♥♥ that barely gets played.
Dynamic relations/people.
More building options, more indepth too.
Betters sponsor options+ more control over livery,
Just overall just a tat more indepth.
I get that licenses are a thing, so i dont expect any real names or logo`s but the variety thas is there has to be big.
A skip raceday option, just like qualli and practice.
Visuals if cars crash, for example a small screen on display where what happened.
radio calls to your drivers, not limited to 3 but at least 30.
This is just what comes to mind at first.
other stuff i’d like to see:
• more traits for both drivers and engineers/mechanics (like for example a trait that could make an engineer more likely to leak info to other teams or something like that, just things to add depth to more than just the driver side of things)
• this might be a little overambitious but more in-depth/customizable car development would be very cool, like for instance being able to choose between different front wing/rear wing models and stuff like that
• more advanced ai strategies—i think the current ai becomes fairly easy to outmaneuver during the race once you get the hang of things. i do understand that the ai has to be able to account for all the possible rules and stuff but the challenge of the game does fade a bit as you rack up hours
I do like the idea of a sort of "picture in picture" style whenever a major event happens during a session. I like to have the camera pan over sometimes, but other times I do not and I feel this would address that.
