FWIW: Choosing the Politico career when making your character massively helps prevent this.
Guess there's no way to avoid being screwed over on a new game with the spec parts?
If you mean that, I noticed that by the Fire 17-Mod I play.
Have to watch that on the Challances. If there is the same Indication Error for the Basic Chassis Construction then it´s a bug.
But if you mean the specifications of unity parts that is called to the explenation of the Racing series. If there are more uity parts you play a Mod.
In the Base Game the following Parts are unity:
a) Formula 3 (European Racing Series) / small GT-Series: the front / rear wing or spoiler
b) Formula 2 (Asian Racing Series): the Engines
c) Formula 1 (World Motorsport Championship) / big GT-Series: no limitations
Don't give false information. There is no bugs in spec parts, some series have them and some not. Can be changed via rule voting.
Maybe he plays FIRE mod because there in COYT there is all but one spec part in the lowest tier. Not sure if it's the same in vanilla as I have never played the lowest tier.
And what's the problem anyway? You just need to adapt to the enviroment. Get better drivers etc.
Not a design decision I particularly like about some real world mods though I must say...
I can't afford to hire better drives as i spent all my money on the "base" upgrading the factory, adding new buildings and a designer that cost a bundle just trying to get around the spec system so i can upgrade more than just my brakes.
I thought that if i bought the buildings, i'd be able to actually make new parts.
Total waste of money.
