Leah's empty house.

Seems like such a waste that a house sits there, we should be able to let a certain homeless person live there, if we reach enough hearts. In exchange he fixes the fences, waters crops, and tends to the animals.

Just expand your farm south and add the cottage to your property... Just gotta do something about Marnie... It will be easy to make it look like an accident. After all, that south-west room of hers is a fire hazard just waiting to light the place up like a match. Nobody will suspect arson. Just make sure Jas is away for the day. She's a good kid.

Well assuming that in an update the bachelor/ettes would pair up after you get married, it's likely Elliot and Leah would pair up (both being artistic types and all), leaving one of their houses empty. So regardless of who YOU marry, a house would be open for him. Although I do think Leah's is a better fit for Linus, being in the woods and all, it also seems like a better fit for a new couple (bigger, more sturdy, etc).
I'd imagine you would have to be close friends with both Leah and Linus for it to be an option, though. I don't think it's quite right to make him work for you, but that could still be an option b/c he would feel like he owes you b/c you negotiated it?

The new tenant from out of town idea seems better. With maybe the option that linus falls for em then maybe change due to that.

He spents a lot of time in winter huddled away in the spa trying to get warm and people throw rocks at his tent! He says he's happy but he might just be apprehensive to trust someone with how people treat him :(

People already did something for Linus and modded him a proper little house in place of the tent. Yes, we all feel bad for the guy, but pretty much all the dialog with him tells us he's living that lifestyle by choice. Still, we can just mod him a little cabin in place of the tent and let him keep his lifestyle.

As for Leah's house, not much we can do about it. Maybe with a new patch, she uses it as an art studio during the days when she's not on the farm?
