CAN'T LAUNCH GAME: Missing executable MetroExodus.exe

Finished downloading and getting this error when trying to launch the game:

"An error occurred while updating Metro Exodus (missing executable):

M:\Steam\steamapps\common\Metro Exodus\MetroExodus.exe"

I tried doing Verify Integrity and that did not fix it....

This is par for the course for this group. Yanking the game from Steam in the last couple weeks before release for a bag of silver. When that alone seemed to not be enough to irritate ALL of its customers enough, the devs and others open their meatholes and make it worse. Now Steam release being messed up. Yea, should have figured this was coming. These guys have tripped over their own wangs every step since they initially yanked the game. Its almost funny watching them double down on the stupid over and over.. Glad I didnt buy this. They will be lucky if I buy it next year when they deem Steam customers money worthy of their accounts finally.
