TY2 is my favourite though
I thought the rang customization aspect was neat, but again, I remember very little of it. I'd probably agree it was the weakest in the series, but I can't recall enough of it to give a fair review.
From what I remember of it though, Ty 2 was the better of them in terms of the open world/missions formula. Speaking of, if you guys were to do a full 3D Ty 5, what formula would it follow? The first game's collect-a-thon or Ty2 and 3s open world esq. forumla?
TY 3 was/is probably my favorite game in the series I guess(?) when I think about it.
There were a lot of different things to do in it (like in the second game) and though it may not of been as colorful as the previous games when I think about it, I still enjoyed it a lot and had fun finding all of the different things that were hidden throughout the game and talking to everyone over and over again, listening to what they had to say.
I remember spending a lot of time in Cassopolis, just hanging around and talking to the different characters there. It was nice and I had fun with the kart racing missions too that were in the game, they were never TOO hard in my opinion (except for one I guess, but I eventually finished it after a few tries).
Not to mention even though TY 3 appeared to of focused a bit more on using machines and not just boomerangs to fight which I was a bit unsure of at first, I still had a lot of fun with all of the different ways you could fight. And the different boomerang types were still there, which was good.
Overall despite the flak it gets, I think TY 3 held up nicely as a game. It might've strayed a bit from it's roots but it was still a damn fine game.
We got to polish the TY 2 gameplay a bit. Added the Rang customization, Gunyip, Close Rang Combat and of course the Crabmersible. It's not perfect but I'm always impressed when I go back to look at it again as to just how polished we managed to get that game in just one year.
Also best because Gooboo Steve has a decent part :)
all i can say, as far as i played, it was amazing and easily my favorite ty.Hyped for 2 nonetheless <3
Very nice to hear this, i can understand you would feel really proud of it :)
But I don't think they subtracted that much from the experience.
