Also, I think Binding of Isaac would be better called a twin stick shooter. It's not very much like Zelda outside of the level layouts being similar to the first Legend of Zelda. The gameplay is much different. But you probably already know that if you're looking to get both of these games.
Personal preference would have me going for Binding of Isaac first though, since I find Super Meat Boy to be frustratingly hard. But that's just me.

BOI requires you to be very alert and able to multitask.
And Meat Boy requires, A ♥♥♥♥ ton of patience. Both are very fun either way.
