There is a game called Fumes made by another dev studio that is much alike Twisted metal. Ironically, the game is in early access, is like under 20 dollars and often on sale and yet it has 10x more configuration and parameters customization. For instance, the deadzone of each thumb analogs can be customized very efficiently.

This game is lacking in the department of optimization, control configuration, the very foundation of a game.
