How do you find/buy props?

Hi, i just started playing on the PS4 and i'm having a ♥♥♥♥ ton of fun. But i accidentally sold the machine gun to a tank i spent the last 3 hours restoring and i don't know where to get another one. I know you can buy Ammo straight from the resupply menu but i don't know where to get the guns.

find them in tanks,
or, buy the drone, and scan the entire map, not just the suggested circle, you'll find all kinds of tiny signatures, those are guns or badges.

I'm on the PC version, so not sure how this will help on PS4. I know nothing about PS4's. On a PC, when in the game, you can press the tilde key (normally left of the 1 key and below ESC). An orange screen appears. Then type . It will start with a ' . Delete, and then type collectables SOV (very important that it only says that),then enter. This will appear at the top of the orange screen, Click on that and at the bottom in white writing should appear, PRESS ENTER TO EXCU. Press enter. This will give you 1 of all Soviet collectables. You can use USA,GBR,GER for each nation. Failing that, the good news is, if it was a Soviet, German tank. You will probably find a spare MG for it during extractions. Good luck

Wow, I didn't know there were other things to find out there, thank you ^_^
Is there a way to "replay" extractions? I'd like to go back out there and find anything i missed the first time i was out there.

No way to go back to previous extractions, but there's lots of stuff to dig up.
If its a German vehicle then expect most of the finds to be medals.

With the drone you can save a search pattern and it scans the entire map pretty fast now.
There's one map that's bigger in size so I named that search pattern as large map.

How do you save search patterns? There are soo many commands in this game that the game doesn't tell you about, like how you can apparently change the radio station by clicking on the radio with left bumper.

It shows the controls and the caption has basic instructions.

Use Clear button to erase all the waypoints before you saved them.


However if you want to delete or rename a saved waypoint scheme
Use file explorer which is now buried in Windows10 start menu at
Start > Windows System > File Explorer

Us it to go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TankMechanicSimulator\TankMechanicSimulator_Data\StreamingAssets\DroneWaypoints

Files names there are the waypoint scheme names you gave them and end with .json

Um . . . . A: I can only place 2 of those at a time. B: i don't get the Clear, Save, Waypoint Schemes or CommonSizeMap buttons on my drone menu and C: I don't have a cracked PS4 so i can't access the games files like that.

Sorry those directions are for PC. I don't see many non-PC players in the few steam community's I normally visit and guess the old brain just blanked out the PS4 part.
Hope someone else who knows PS4 will come along with an answer, or a dev.

It's alright. No harm no foul as the old saying goes. And it's still a lot of fun even if i do have to pretty much operate the drone manually.
