If you have the Christmas email still in your Inbox and haven't done the special mission then complete it you should be able to get it, unless they've removed the ability from people who haven't completed it but have it

I believe the availability ended on Jan 6th when the Ho Ho Ho event ended?
But it'd be interesting to find out otherwise.

I hope to be able to get this achievement at next Christmas.
Hopefully it won't be the same... as the developer of theHunter Call of the Wild , where achievements and events are (or rather were) only accessible for one period and one week.

I missed the Halloween achievement and in my opinion it's pretty silly to make achievements available for only a few days per year.

1000% Agreed

for me it's simple, if I know I can't get 100% of the achievements then it's not worth it for me to buy more DLC etc.

Same for me, what the point of doing this...

Well, I guess it depends on the player. For me doing the failed contract achievements is a NO GO. So I will never get 100% ! That doesn't mean I won't buy DLCs...

The first rule of TMS is ... that you never ever decline a contract!
The second rule of TMS is... that you NEVER EVER fail a contract!

There are steam apps that allow you to trigger achievements you have no intention of completing legitimately.

I can see why it would be triggering to set an achievement to fail contracts. I don't like sledgehammering or cutting off components either, but I brought myself to demolish the shell of a Pz III rather than repair it or just sell it in my futile never-ending quest to dig up a Maus. Once I finally get all the achievements I do want (i.e. Mr Maus) I will use the achievement app to tick the failure achievements.

You have to be careful, though because programs like that are forbidden by Valves terms of service and using them could get your account banned.

I've never heard of anyone losing anything for ticking an achievement. It's just doing what all the other programs do.

Just don't download these achievement crackers from suspicious sites and don't hack crazy amount of achievements at once and you should be fine.
