how to get the maus?

like the title says, having trouble finding the maus, is it just like the rest of the tanks, hidden in a ditch somewhere? or do you have to get a special email to unlock it?

Fortunately I spotted a hulk in Uncle Tom's yard almost immediately on this new tank release and it probably pays to keep your eye on that yard consistently rather than wait for a convenient excavation of 'pot luck'. Great unit huge build and obviously a labour of love from the developers. Took me an hour or even more to assemble this expensive blueprint, worth every minute of it's complexity and volume. Good luck with you finding one. I guess that's half the fun of it!

I looked in the Yard like the user Paxtoranius did, however I had no luck but I also kept going on excavation missions, by deleting every email and accepting the excavations until I found the Maus.

1st spotted immediately in Yard, almost empty.
2nd found in 5th extraction.

Can the Maus show up in repair contracts? I pushed the "check for new emails" button for 30 minutes in a row and never got a Maus for repair.

Like above found in graveyard straight away. Huge build great fun, expected problems with identifying missing parts and inspection panels insisting on being fitted before you've completed the engine/gearbox/fuel system etc.

20 yard refreshes: 4 found.

Yard might have boosted rate.

From the screenshot of 4 mause that @Makrel posted it looks like the scrapyard is the place to find them for collectors.

There is no limit to how many Maus's you can have, or how many you can find.

This is another way to refresh the scrapyard, In-game there's also a timer before it refreshes.
